He is the second oldest son among the six children of his father, Julia Archibald, and mother, Big Tiny Archibald. Basketball Career 

In 1966-67 he played for the Arizona Western College for one season. Later was transferred to the University of Texas, where he played from 1967-70. 

His professional career began in 1970. He was selected nineteenth overall in round two of the 1970 NBA Draft by the Cincinnati Royals.

Here, he played from 1970 to 1976 with several achievements. In 1976, he joined the New York Knicks; here, the injury became a bar to his smooth career. In 1977 he joined the Buffalo Braves; the same things happened in his life, his Achilles tendon was torn, and he could not continue his play regularly.
