This prominent retired NBA basketball player was born on September 2, 1948, in New York. His full name is Nathaniel “Tiny” Archibald. He is the second oldest son among the six children of his father, Julia Archibald, and mother, Big Tiny Archibald. The young boy grew up in the South Bronx area of New York City which is manifested with crimes. But Nate Archibald skipping those negative particulars engaged himself in basketball and gradually turned into a national hero.
His basketball career started with ups and downs. From his school life, he started to play basketball and began to expose the light of his talent. During his school life, for one and half-season, he played with a legendary performance at the high school level in the South Bronx borough of New York.
In the early part of his basketball career, dropout became a deterrent to him. He was cut from the DeWitt Clinton High school. For this reason, he had to play with the junior team.
