School:

At the very beginning of his life, he went to Northcrest Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He showed his amazing skill here and led the school team to the Fort Wayne middle school championships.

Later, he got admitted to Northwood Middle School. After leaving this school, he was again admitted to Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He led this school team to the Class 2A Indiana state championships twice (as a senior and a junior).

As a freshman at the school, he averaged 28.95 points per game.

College:

At the time he was studying at Ohio State University in Columbus, he was part of the Ohio State Buckeyes men’s basketball team from 2010 to 2013.

In 2014, he again represented the Spurs in the 2014 NBA Summer League, where he averaged 0.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
