Jamie Watson came to the world on April 10, 1986. At the beginning of his life, he played in the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, from 2001 to 2003.

Then he started his college education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Here he played for the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s soccer team from 2003–to 2004.
