Robert Parish was born on August 30, 1953, in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. His life with basketball began with his school life. He played for Woodlawn High School. In his school’s basketball, he exposed himself to a flourishing condition. He led the team to win the AAAA state championship in 1972.
His early life with basketball was in rising condition, but the penalty that was given by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) emerged as a bar to a smooth career in his college tenure.
From 1972 to 1976, he played for Centenary College of Louisiana with a praiseworthy performance. In 1975, he played for the national team in the Pan American Games, and his team won the gold medal.
