The professional life of Moses Malone started with ABA.  In the 1974 ABA draft, he was selected by the Utah Stars. In his rookie year, he passed the season with the best performance. For his impressive performance in Rookie seasons, he was titled with the ABA All-Star and ABA All-Rookie honors.
