Professional Basketball Career
He took his first step in the arena of the NBA in 1981 and cantoned till 1997. In the long journey of his career, he played for lots of teams. He played for the San Diego Clippers, Seattle SuperSonics, Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Charlotte Hornets, and Philadelphia 76ers.

In the 1981 NBA draft, San Diego Clippers picked him in 8th overall in the 1st round. The starting of his journey with the San Diego Clippers lasted till 1983. Later, he joined with the Seattle SuperSonics, where he stayed from 1983 to 1988. Later, he signed with the Phoenix Suns and played for this team from 1988 to 1993. Leaving the Phoenix Suns, he made a contract with the Utah Jazz and provided services to this team in 1993-1995.
Besides the NBA, he also played in the Israel Super League (ISL), where he played in 1995-1996. The memory of the Israel career was the golden part of his life. During his tenure with the Israel team Maccabi Tel Aviv, he favored his team to win the Israeli League championship in 1996.
Playing for the Israel team, he returned to his old address. After returning to the NBA, he again started to play for the Charlotte Hornets in 1997. The last games of his life were with the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1997-1998 seasons. In the last match of his career, he scored six points, two rebounds, and two steals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
