Billy Reid’s Professional Basketball Career

His professional career began in 1980. The bus of the professional journey in basketball stopped at the destination of retirement in 2000. 

In the early seasons of his NBA career, he played for the Golden State Warriors. Joe Barry Carroll also started his NBA career with this team. Earlier, he was also chosen by the Indiana Pacers in the 1979 NBA draft. From 1981 to 1983, he played in Japan and Taiwan. In the 1982–83 season, he played in Venezuela. Later, he moved to France and engaged in French professional basketball. From 1987 to 1990, he played for the French team ABC Nantes. In 1991-1992 he played for another French team, Reims Champagne. From 1995 to 1999, he played for the French team, Avignon. The last match of his professional life was with the French team Fos Ouest Provence. Here he played for one season in 1999-2000.
