Early Life
In his early years, he went to Blaine High School in Blaine, Washington. He played on two teams at high school that won state championships, and in 2000, the year he graduated, McDonald’s and Parade both named him a high school All-American.
After passing his school life, he was admitted to the University of Oregon (UO) in Eugene, Oregon. Here he represents the Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team from 2000 to 2003. He established the school season assist record (218) and set a conference record by making 62 straight free throws. Luke averaged 19.7 points and 6.6 assists per game. After his junior season, in which he won Pac-10 Player of the Year, Ridnour left Oregon.
