Lou Williams was born on the world on October 27, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee.
He is the son of his late father, Willie Louis Williams, and his mother, Janice Faulkner. He has two brothers and one sister. They are Taurus Stinnett, Willie Louis Williams II, and Shaun Haynes.
From the early of his life, he began to expose his talent in the field of basketball. He went to the South Gwinnett High School (SGHS) in Snellville, Georgia. In this, he played with spreading his fame. In his school career, he was a four-time All-State selection and became part of Georgia’s “Mr. Basketball.” In his junior and senior years was elected as “Most Athletic” Senior Superlative by his peers.
In his junior year, he led his school team to the winning of the 5A Georgia State Championship. In 2005, he was titled with the Naismith Prep Player of the Year Award which is the acknowledgment of the nation’s top high school player. He was named to the McDonald’s All-American East Team. He was to study at the University of Georgia, but he chose to play in the NBA directly.

In his 16 years career, he wore the jersey of the Philadelphia 76ers, Fort Worth Flyers, Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and presently the Atlanta Hawks
