Later, he played for the Simac Milano in Italy during the 1983 to 1984 season. After playing here for one season, he moved to the Atlanta Hawks and played with this team from 1984 to 1989.
From 1989 to 1990, he played for the Sacramento Kings and represented San Antonio Spurs from 1991 to 1993. Returning to the NBA, he played for the Utah Jazz from 1994 to 1997 with Karl Malone for the Houston Rockets.
